The American Bar Association published its Reorganizing Failing Businesses treatise, which included chapters entitled, “United States Securities Laws Implications of Corporate Restructurings” co-authored by Aaron L. Hammer.
In August 2017, the American Bar Association published the third revised version of its widely acclaimed treatise, Reorganizing Failing Businesses featuring chapters co-authored by Aaron L. Hammer. The publication included a chapter entitled, “United States Securities Laws Implications of Corporate Restructurings,” which Aaron L. Hammer co-authored with other nationally recognized insolvency specialists. The treatise analyzes key situations from the perspective of the varied constituencies within a restructuring process and application of the bankruptcy code in that context. The treatise also details how bankruptcy laws interact with a variety of other legal disciplines including federal securities laws, intellectual property, antitrust, tax, health care, and environmental laws.
